To teach tango as a woman is not an easy task. It requires that she understand both the masculine and feminine roles, and have a great deal of dedication. Jackie has done this work, having spent 4 years learning our technique, TTC, and her teaching methods are supported by a deep knowledge of how to develop the dance of Tango. It is a true pleasure to take part in her progression as well as the growth of her students who always arrive prepared with a strong base enabling them to evolve their dance. Due to her natural curiosity, generosity and the way in which she is able to transmit her enthusiasm for the dance, Jackie is a unique teacher and a welcome addition to any tango community.

Jackie Wong is the Wonder Woman of Argentine Tango. She single handedly organizes and teaches tango in her Western Mass community.
As a social dancer and improviser, she has reached a high level of sophistication.Jackie has the ability to seamlessly connect and to flow with any leader while adding a strong sense of personal expression. She’s also leads and new and experienced followers feel comfortable and enjoy dancing with her.Additionally, Jackie’s flexible and highly developed teaching skills have been refined through numerous classes that she has taught and taken as well. Lastly, she is one of our best students and most enjoyable of dance partners.
